Installation Notes:
- Confirm that your shower floor layout is compatible with a 6 × 6 inch square shower drain before installation.
- Check that your plumbing connection is compatible with the 2-inch central outlet and U.S. No Hub drain base system.
- Plan the drain position and shower floor slope carefully so water flows naturally toward the drain.
- Make sure the drain base, central outlet, waterproofing layer, mortar bed, and tile layout are aligned before final installation.
- Install the drain level with the finished shower floor surface for a clean look and proper drainage performance.
- Use the threaded adapter and rubber coupling according to the installation manual for compatible PVC or ABS plumbing connections.
- Seal the drain area properly to help prevent water leakage below the shower floor.
- Place the removable filter and grid grate correctly after installation.
- Run water after installation to test drainage speed, floor slope, and visible connections.
- Professional installation is recommended for tiled shower floors, wet rooms, or projects involving waterproofing and drain-base alignment.
Care & Maintenance:
- Use the lifting hook to remove the grid grate periodically and clean hair, soap residue, and debris from the drain area.
- Clean the removable hair and debris filter regularly to help maintain smooth water flow.
- Wipe the visible matte black surface with a soft cloth to help reduce water spots, soap residue, and mineral buildup.
- Use mild soap and clean water for routine cleaning, then rinse and dry the surface with a soft cloth.
- Avoid acidic cleaners, chlorine-based products, abrasive powders, steel wool, metal brushes, and rough cleaning pads.
- Do not leave harsh cleaners, grout haze removers, or hard-water deposits on the matte black finish for an extended period.
- If drainage becomes slow, remove the grate and filter first to check for trapped hair or debris before using chemical drain cleaners.
